Media Statement On behalf of Funny Girls Ltd
We are relieved to hear that Blackpool Licensing Committee have decided not to pursue an EMRO for Blackpool and have sought to continue to work closely with us and all the late night operators in the resort.
The success of Blackpool's late night economy is due to the excellent initiatives already in place following the resorts award winning Pub Watch partnerships and full co-operation of venue operators, managers and staff.
We now look forward to restoring relationships and building the working partnerships with the Police, Blackpool Council and the Licensing Committee.
We are delighted that initiatives put forward by the newly formed Night Time Partnership has been pro-actively embraced and supported by the Licensing Committee and we look forward with hope & enthusiasm to fostering long term partnerships that create lasting results for the greater good of our town. We are proud to be part of Blackpools legendary and iconic late night leisure industry and continue to strive to be the best place in the UK to visit and enjoy a safe, fun and unique night out.
